The end of the year is always crazy busy for us and 2016 was no different. Still, we managed to get the Beta 6 release out! We’re aiming for this to be the last Beta before the release candidate! Here is a look at some of what we added with this release:
We added the ability to create custom list of features so you can work from your list instead of having to constantly navigate through all your artwork.
Shading for Stairs
Stairs now implement shading for steps and for depth.
Stroke now accounts for columns
We updated the rooms and corridors so that the stroke now properly goes around columns.
Open path item shape options
As part of the updates for city tools open path items now have tool options for shape pens.
City Tools – Bridge/pier
This is just one of the tools we are adding with Beta 6. A bridge/pier tool with options set to look like a plank bridge.
We’ll include more details about the new city tools and artwork with the next Blog.
We’ve also added a downloadable demo of Other World Mapper based on Beta 6. It has a limited artwork set and you can’t save/open/export. It’s useful for anyone wanting to see what Other World Mapper can do before committing to Beta buy in.
