Re: World Making
One of the features from the campaign is "Option to have a circle or ellipse represent the edge of a flat map (instead of rectangular edge)." Would that work for the map you are making? I'm curious if that would fit into what you are trying to do. The circle/ellipse would be constrained by the widt...

World Making
Sorry, some of this was poster in the "errors" forum. I really need to go back to the root of the alpha forum each time :( 1) As you can tell for the emailed map, the two maps I've started with are the entire globe. It would be very useful to have a circle tool so that the edges of the globe can be ...

Re: Multiple Land Masses
Alejandro; Disabling the shorelines certainly speeds things up, I can actually have both hemispheres open at once. A couple of observations: 1) when you collapse the Properties palettes, the scroll bar remains showing things which are below the displayed window: which is not the case. dialogs.jpg 2)...

Re: Multiple Land Masses
Alejandro;
I've no issue with sharing the map. I'll send it along via email.
Ok, on the vector, etc. It must be that the manual could use a little more clarity. I can read through the spelling/grammar errors - I do it routinely in technical papers I read.

Multiple Land Masses
While creating the base global map of my world I have inserted 25 land masses: the file is not over 5 MB in size and OWM becomes extremely slow and frequently freezes and shows a plain black canvas. Deselecting layer does not help, or not very much. Second issue: when attempting to use a bitmap in t...

Re: Windows Vista Compatability
I'll give that a try this weekend and let you know if I have issues. But, right now at least, work before pleasure
Thanks for the tip.

Re: Windows Vista Compatability
In reality, it is not terribly critical since Vista has been sunsetted. Sure security updates are still being supplied but the system is so unstable is doesn't really matter. I'm also running on Win 7 Pro and Win 8.1 Pro. Only issues there are is File Insert doesn't function: but it isn't supposed t...

Windows Vista Compatability
Well, Vista is a total bust. Installation as administrator and a reboot produces the same error:
"The procedure entry point GdipDeleteEffect could not be located in the dynamic link library gdiplus.dll"
Not necessarily surprising give the OS.
No issues on Windows 7 Pro or 8.1 Pro.

Hi and Congrats
I'm so glad you made ALL your stretch goal. As a GM who has been making maps by hand and then on a computer (using various not very satisfactory programs) I thinks it's great that you are working on an all-in-one program. Sure will make my campaign a lot easier even with 30+ years of maps and the li...
