Re: Importing Shapefiles
That looks great! There are a ton of people that do tabletop games with "alternative Earth" themes. Being able to start with the real world and then move borders to create a "Steampunk Roman Empire" or somesuch, is going to really save them time. It it also going to be possible to generate SHP file...

Re: Facebook Reviews
Yay! The Mac beta is nearly ready! I thought I was going to need to build a PC and take up your kind offer of using the PC version. It will be the Beta release, so likely with issues/missing stuff. Sounds like I'll be able to join the Mac Bugspotting Team. Are there "Bugspotting Points"? Is there a...

Re: Hello!
Hi from United Kingdom! I've just purchased the "Expansion Version" of this marvellous piece of software for my PbP game. Over the years I've tried many different mapping solutions, but usually defaulted to AutoRealm and Paint.Net. Other World Mapper has a lot of promise and seems to offe...

Re: Projected Release date and final price?
We are planning to do versions with less functionality for those that, for instance, only want to do overland maps, and versions stripped of artwork for those who wouldn't be using ours, but pricing for those versions is still TBD. Do you really want to do that? It will drive your average selling p...

That sounds good. A reduced feature version might help increase the...

Kanchou/Alejandro's maps
Alejandro helped someone with a question about how to share maps , but said something that I thought was pretty interesting: I'm pretty lousy at map mapping, which is one of the reasons we started working on Other World Mapper :). Rather than derail the other topic, I'll ask here. What sort of maps ...

Re: Hello from Brazil
Hello everybody, I am from Brazil and I need to draw a map for a fantasy book I'm writing. Still haven't bought the software but I'm really impressed by the demo video and art gallery. I am a Mac user, so I will need to install OWM on a Virtual Machine, unless the Mac version is released soon. Do y...

Re: Hi there
I was finally able to purchase the beta as I originally missed the Kickstarter campaign. Just wanted to say, that this is the best and easiest map maker program I've ever seen. Within 2 minutes I had entire land masses created with rivers, and lakes flowing together. The fact that everything is it'...
