Corrupt Map File??

Corrupt Map File??
When I try placing a cartography feature on a map I have created, the program stops working and forces me to close the program.
Is this an indication that the file of the saved map might be corrupt? If this is the case, will I have to recreate the map as a new map, all over again? Or could this indicate some other problem?
Thank you anyone, for help with this. Attached is a screenshot.

Re: Corrupt Map File??
Would you be so kind to use an image format instead of a word file? :)

Even if the file is corrupted we can fix it with our tools.Phantom77 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 7:52 pmWhen I try placing a cartography feature on a map I have created, the program stops working and forces me to close the program.

Questions:
1. Are you running the OSX or Windows version? Are you running the latest?
2. Can you send us your map file? info@threemindssoftware.com
Thank you!

Re: Corrupt Map File??
Nineteen days ago, I emailed the file but I have not yet received any follow up and a solution to the problem.

Re: Corrupt Map File??
Apologies for the delay. The email ended up under spam for some reason.
It looks like there's an issue with the default grid overlay, we'll investigate the cause.
To work around the issue/fix the map:
1. Enter grid options
2. Select OK
3. Hide the grid via the "show grid" option.
Thank you!

This work-around solution you suggested is working! I'm so relieved, because I was getting frustrated, and thinking I had to remake a whole new map from scratch.
It's weird though, because the grid was not showing in the first place. Thank you. And if you do find something in investigating this, do let me know.
