OWM has a lot of features but not a lot of documentation - yet. I thought we could use a place to collect questions on how to get the most benefit out of it or a place to ask how to do things in OWM.

I get to ask the first question.

How do you remove a background image from the map?
I used a background image to develop the layout but no longer need it. Since I share maps with a partner, I have to send along the background image for him to place in his background folder when sharing a map whether the image is shown or not. The map doesn't need it anymore. How can I tell OWM to stop looking for it?

Yes, we've been stingy on the documentation because we didn't want to spend time writing a lot when the user interface was going to be updated and streamlined for beta once we had some feedback.

If you don't want the image to appear, uncheck the show button in the map properties. This will stop the image from being loaded. At the moment, there's no way to clear the file name. I've added it to the tracking list and there will be some way to clear it for beta.
